THE SHOP

Founded in January of 2019, Coal Feather Tattoo is a private tattoo studio located in the small mountain town of Kimberley, BC.

LOCATION

Coal Feather Tattoo is located in downtown Kimberley at 255A Wallinger Ave., beside Grow Cake and Chocolate Shop. It shares a front door with El Chupacabra. Look for the black feather sign marking the doorway, and once through the front door, head through the curtain and up the stairs.

RESIDENT ARTIST

Originally a woodburning artist, Ellie began tattooing in the spring of 2016. At present, she specializes in illustrative tattoos, with a focus on fine line work and realism. Her work draws inspiration from life cycles and the intricate work of illustrators, past and present.

With a focus on creating pieces that flow with the lines of the body, Ellie often incorporates simple geometry into her pieces.
